Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity kicks off 2016 build season
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity started building its first home of the season Saturday. The 2016 build season kicked off with a home being erected at Fuller’s Landing. The home’s future owner, Melisa Castro, was on hand to help. Part of the Habitat for Humanity ownership requirement will require Castro to volunteer 300 hours of “sweat equity” into the home, among other volunteer opportunities.
