Gov. Eric Holcomb and other officials gathered Monday at the new U.S. 30/U.S. 33 interchange, a development Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry applauded, to promote the state's five-year roads and infrastructure plan. Holcomb said the state plans to spend $4.7 billion in the next five years to repave 10,000 miles of road and repair or replace 1,300 bridges as part of the Next Level Roads Plan.
